Chestnut room caters for ages 3 months to 2 years.
It has a self contained milk kitchen where bottles
and food are prepared, as well as facilities for
sterilising baby utensils. Babies have individual
sheets and blankets that are put into their
personalised storage bags so as to minimise cross
infection. Toys and equipment are washed every
evening ready for use the next day.
LINDEN ROOM ages 3 to 5 years
Linden Room caters for children aged between 3 and 5 years. This room operates term time only and has a morning session which runs from 9am to 12pm and an afternoon session which runs from 1pm to 4 pm. The resources are stored in low, clearly labelled containers that support children’s independence and decision making skills.
Maple Room caters for children aged between 2
to 3 years. Children’s development is stimulated
through the variety of multisensory resources
that meet children’s interests and needs. Regular
outings to the local environment ensure access
to first hand learning experiences.
WILLOW ROOM ages 3 to 5 years
Willow Room caters for children aged between 3
to 5 years. It consists of two rooms that children
can access throughout the day according to their
interests. One of the rooms has direct access to
the garden. The children are offered a choice
of
play indoors and outdoors as often as they like.
